Be it known to all whom the same may concern that I WILLIAM ADAMS of the County of Shelby & State of Kentucky have this day convenated and agree and by these presents do convenant and agree to emancipate the following Negroes (viz) CHARLES, SARAH, MARYAN, REUBEN and ELIZA at the following ages:
they all being about 21 years of age at the time of their freedom which said Negroes I do hereby agree shall be entitled to their freedom as if they had been free born at the ages aforesaid in _______ where of the said WILLIAM ADAMS has here unto set his hand and affixed his seal the 12th day of October 1807
