Thank you pointing out the process of navigating the site. And upon using your directions I was able to access the index and at one point I was able to access the first page of the enrollment card. All of it was nice but as a way of retrieving information I would have appreciated the ability to link all of that information including the transcripts of the oral interviews in M1301. At last I realize the NARA would not be able to make a dime if they provided all of the information in these files.

I was successful in extracting all of the index pertaining to the Choctaw Freedmen and minor's. I will continue to extract the information pertaining to the Chickasaw Freedmen because for better or worse I have MANY ancestors in both tribes This is one reason I feel the need to have better access and more access to the information in their files. The cost alone is preventing me from purchasing that cherry red Benz 450 SL.

Thanx again now how do we link that stuff for the other freedmen descendants?
