David, you are obviously very knowledgeable, I am not. However, that does not negate the fact that I have a thirst to know all there is to know.

Please understand that I dont mean to be rude but it does appear that you take a very harsh and belittling way of dealing with those of us who dont have the "proof" that you have. I'm sorry my family didnt keep all the records in top order but here's a thought. I didnt make the laws or the rules. I am but one who is searching. I openly acknowledge the atrocities placed upon the First Peoples however MY ancestors were slaves and didnt get their 40-acreas and a mule. But I digress.
The point is, I dont have the proof, but I, personally, have never required a person to prove their ethnic background.

I dont mean to sound overly sensitive but it just seems that we are being clumped together and seen in a very negative light and all most of us are trying to do is find out the truth.

You have thoroughly and completely put me in my place and shown me my total ignorance on a subject that I only have a desire to learn from. I was hoping that I would find someone who would help me but if my questions are only met with derision, I will hence forth keep my mouth closed.
