In 1863, Abraham Lincoln issued the Proclamation Emancipation abolishing slavery. In 1865, the Civil War ended, but the Confederacy had inbeded itself deap within Indian Territory.

The 1866 Indian Treaties came into effect not because of slavery, but to end the Civil War in Indian Territory.
The 1866 treaties do not pertain to Indian degrees of blood or blood quantum.
