I Have been trying to find information on my grandfather who I belive had Creek ancestry he was born in Metcalf GA then moved to hernando FL and then Tampa where he later died. His name was William Philip Atkins. I have alway been told of my Native Mmerican heritage but never told what tribe or nation. My family members who might know somthing of the family tree are very tight lipped. They won't even return my calls and this really eats at me. Any info someone can offer would be most appreciated.

PS I attend native social events and I am Proud to be Red & Black! but it sure helps to know for sure where you come from.
