In Response To: 1885 Black Choctaw Census ()
I am looking for the surname of Simien. We were told that our heritage is Cherokee African American Mexican and Caucasion. Since my husbands ancestors are from the Louisiana area the Native American connection could be Choctaw. Thank you for any help anyone can offer.
