Charles, at this point I will just forget Jane jefferson, although she had a son named Silas Jefferson. Little Silas was denied his blood rights (maybe because Jane's husband was Indian). Little Silas was at one time 1/8 Creek Indian but placed on the freedmen roll with no blood quantum was entered. Being a freedmen according to the nations meant you were just a black person (not considering being mixed blood) and automatically placed on the freedmen roll with no blood quantum mentioned.
