Re: Looking Info on Bullard in Texas
In Response To: Looking Info on Bullard in Texas ()
Hello Raven A question for you----when and where did Arthur Bullard die? He enlisted in the war in 1917, did he return to Wharton Texas to live, or did he live in nearby Galveston or another city? Since we know that he was born in the 1890s and enlisted in the military in 1917, both non census years, we need something else to be able to pinpoint where he and/or family were living during one of the census years. Also note that for his name to appear on the Social Security Death Index, he had to have been a person who collected Social Security benefits at the time of his death. The Social Security Administration began in 1937 and the first benefits were not paid to beneficiaries till the late 1950s and early 1960s, so if he died in the 1930s or even 40s he would not have been a collector of benefits. What other facts are there about him?
These might be helpful in gleaning out more information on this mysterious Bullard ancestor. -Angela-
