I have often wondered about the status of those adopted. Does it vary by tribe, by nation, or is it the same for all?

Below is my situation, These LaForce women were all slaves of a white family named LaForce. Following a raid on Martin's Station in Kentucky (Jun 1780) by the Shawnee and British Loyalist during the Revolutionary War they were taken Canada and dispersed as described.

Candis, Hannah & Betty are my 5th, 6th & 7th great-grandmothers respectively.

Candis has a daughter.....Rachel(McKee)Reno.......Rachel's daughter, Susan, marries a Free black, Lewis Adams in Urbana, Ohio 1 Jan 1816.

Lewis & Susan are my 3rd great-grandparents, what Native American rights do I have in this descendency line, if any.?
