Hello cyber space,
I am seeking information and knowledge from anyone who can help me trace my root through my grandfather Charley Mitchell.

He was born about 1854 in Missouri. At the age of eleven his family moved to New Orleans. I was told that he married while living in the ninth ward but left his wife and children. He then relocted to Grayson County Texas where he met and married my Grandmother Julia Grayson. Two of their seven children were born in Texas and the remaining five were born in Oklahoma including my father Eddie Mitchell.

They moved to Mcintosh County and lived in Fisher Town that no longer exist.

Should anyone have information on the Mitchell family as describer aboved, I would be honore to hear from you.
