I am with you, why wait for tribal and federal courts to decide this issue now, especially when Cherokee tribal courts decided back in 2006 with the Lucy Allen case.

I totally blame the BIA for letting the CNO get away with passing their own version of Jim Crow Law that resulted in the freedmen being disenrolled.

We all know the Chief is a master manipulator, and if he had his way, he would keep this thing tied up in the court system for years. Money is no object, as more than 300 million dollars in federal funds is handed over to him each year with no strings attached.

I sincerely hope the latest ruling in the Vann vs Kempthorne case ignites a fire under Congresswoman Diane Watson's bill.
The Federal Government and the Cherokees made the Treaty deal. Congress has the power to cease all federal funding with a single vote. It is just not coming fast enough for me.
