Nothing is not a word I would have chosen. Your ancestors are listed on the Creek Freedmen roll are very important. They were citizens of the Creek Nation.
Hopefully the current members of the Nation will see this injustice and vote to amend the requirements for MCN citizenship.
I am asking you to talk with all Creek citizens about the Freedmen, not just the Black Creeks.
I agree with David in one of his earlier post, that there are clear differences between the MCN and the CNO constitution.
Currently the Cherokee constitution allow for Freedmen citizenship.
The MCN constitution do not.
One thing is for sure Norma is that there is a convention going on in the MCN. Its a great opportunity to change the citizenship requirements.
