Thanks for the information on Skinner's Tavern. That my Uncle Caleb worked for my Aunt Phoebe's owners for her freedom remains a mystery for now. Mary Morrison Hamill would have owned Phoebe but at this time,I have nothing placing her in Fairmont, VA. The mystery continues as does my search. Thanks again.
