Your welcome. Let me make a correction on a prior post. John Newcomb married a Miss Emer Backstrum in 1912 Neshoba CO not in the 1890s.

I haven't research the Backstrum surname; thus, I do not know if Peter was related to Emer. I'm going to ask for a 1900 census lookup for Emer to see who her parents were. I'm sure somewhere do the line the Bacstrums in question are related.
