Re: RANDOLPH, John, VA, Chesterfield Co, 1810, Sla

the surnames: Isham, Randolph,Ivey .

That's very interesting & I'm taking notes
of those names mentioned. :D

I have a Col. R. Randolph
who was married to Mary Royall Isham
& then I have a person named Isham Randolph. (DNA)

Perhaps that was just a very Popular surname & mix of names during those colonial times?
Mine are all Virginia based.

I also have some Povalls, Ivey and Eppes . (I think they owned my enslaved
ancestors at some point) The Ivey's later moved fr. Va.to NC.

(they all seem be interrelated , so I'm guessing they were all working together to further their empires. (with land, slavery, business)

I'm wondering if it's all connected to the descendants of the same family that has ended up in my ancestry?

t.b.
