Upson County GA Slaves

Mr Paterson,

Thank you for responding. The information I have on Richard Respess, Peter Holloway and Caroline Richardson came from you cd "Slaves and Slave Masters of Upson County" (THANK YOU for compiling that). I am having a difficult time finding any info on Peter Holloway after he was sold in 1858 and Caroline Richardson, and her children Clarey and Sidney after they were sold in 1859. I haven't been able to find anything on Richard, who was sold along with them, prior to 1875.
Other than a marriage certificate and census records, I have nothing on Dolly Goode or her parents.
As far as the Dubignons, I have found through Census and newspaper articles, that Charles Dubignon was a slave born around 1770. The 1870 census for Charles and his children/grandchildren, including my gg grandfather Spencer, gave ages that were suspect. Basically I am looking for any information on the above names.Thank you again for replying and your work on identifying the slaves in Upson County. Hope to hear from you soon.

Stacy Johnson
