Yes, thanks for the link, there is a "bigger picture" for slavery. However, as an American with ancestral origins from sub-Sahara Africa my slavery focus is on the peculiar institution of American chattel slavery, the Middle Passage and the period prior to the American Civil War. That picture is big enough for me.
