I saw this local newspaper article on Sully Plantation in Fairfax County, Virginia and the "positive" experinces of the slaves. It is written by a high school student. My question is is the artice accurate and why would the newspaper publish it?

Do any of you have any knowledge of Sully Plantation in Fairfax County, Viriginia and first hand accounts by the enslaved individuals?
