Sorry April...I know very little about my paternal line. My grandfather (John H. Pennell) told my grandmother that he and his brother Aaron were orphans and refused to talk about family at all. CRS has set in, but I seem to recall my grandmother stating that she thought that he came to Texas by way of either Kentucky or Tennessee though. The ONLY thing that I do know for a fact is that Aaron was a CME minister, and Pennell Chapel in East Texas was named for him.
