I would like to thank the few persons searching for relatives in Athens,
Clarke, Georgia for contacting me concerning their families in this
area. A POC Group has been formed locally and I will share information
that many persons suggested . Athens, Clarke, Georgia was and remains a
very small county based on land area. Even though the University of
Georgia has an enrollment of over thirty-five thousand students, many
families are not from this area when it comes to POC research. If your
family member was from this area, and married in Clarke County, Georgia,
between 1803 and 1909, I have marriage information that may help you
in your research.
