Thanks for checking, Dawn. I don't think these are the people I'm looking for. Aunt Janie was born around 1905-1909, I think. I heard from a relative that she married a "Mack" McCoy. In the 1930 and 1934 city directories for Gastonia, there is a listing for John McCoy and wife Janie. However, "Mack" lives next door to them. They all lived in the same neighborhood as the relative that told me about them in the first place. so, I figured she got the names mixed up because she would have been a little girl at the time that Aunt Janie was living there. My relative is 79 years old now:)
