My maiden name is Kane and I have attempted to do some research into the Kane's in the past. I can get no further then my Great-grandfather who was Oscar Kane. Just recently I received some family pictures that have again sparked my interest.

I wish I had known of your trip sooner. One picture I received was of my grandfather Theodore Kane.

My grandfather was a letter carrier in Philadelphia during the twenties and thirties. This occupation was unheard of for a black man. I actually have a picture of him in his uniform with two white co-workers. I wish I could link Oscar to some other Kane's.
