Hello all. Well i am back again. i sent out for my great grandfather, William N. Jackson, Sr.'s death certificate in March and just got it back two days ago!

I found such a treasure on the death certificate! My great grandparents, as I always knew, lived in Camden, NJ. According to the death cert., William N. Jackson died on March 21, 1964 in Trenton, NJ at a place called NJ State Hospital. I looked that hospital up and found that it was a psychiatric hospital! AND...it said that he had been living the for 9 years and a few months!

I have no idea what that means but I think it's pretty exciting. All I heard about him was that he committed suicide. I am not sure that is true...but you never know.

I found out that the hospital still exists and it is now called Trenton Psychiatric Hospital. i called them and asked them if you still had records from 1964. Maybe they will have some thing on my great grandfather, maybe not but I wrote them a letter and maile dit out today requesting more information.

We shall see...
