After reading your post on a South Carolina board, I have tried unsuccessfully to contact you. Your Arthur Steward's family matches mine exactly. Your ancestor is one of Arthur's sons that I have been unable to account for. I have absolutely no other motive in contacting you other than our mutual heritage. I don't have a lot of information on Arthur and Mahala other than census records and death certificates for both, but I do have information on some of their children, including Samuel, George, Katie and Eunice. I supposed you know that we have relatives in Aiken SC and I have been in touch with Mahala's granddaughter there. I met her at a Stewart family reunion some years ago.
