SMITH'S-TINSLEY'S Mineral VA

I am at a brick wall with my father's Smith family. My grandfather's name was Isaiah Minor Smith. He was born 9/22/1911 in Frederick's Hall, VA. This was later incorporated into Mineral, VA. His father's name was Henry Smith (another common name). Henry's father was Zarah/Zara Smith. Zarah's first wife was Agnes (who was Henry's mother). His second wife was Eliza. Her maiden name looked like Levisy? in the courthouse marriage record book.

Zarah's mom was Mildred Anderson Smith. Her husband was William Smith. Mildred's parents were Overton and A Anderson.

I went to Mineral, VA last year. Luckily I met someone who directed me to a Mr. Thomasson who sent me directly to a cousin by marriage. I made another trip down there and we went to see some older people. They couldn't remember a thing!! Everyone kept telling me that someone had asked them a lot of questions along time ago who was trying to do what I am doing. Will someone please contact me?!!

My g-grandfather Henry Smith married Ella Tinsley. Ella's parents were Richard and Phillis Tinsley. She had a brother named John.

Can somebody help me with these names. I have not been able to fill in the blanks to bring these lines current.

I found one of Zarah's sisters married to an Andrew Green on the 1880 census for Centerville, Fairfax, VA. Was Louisa Co once part of Fairfax County? Should I contact Fairfax County for info? I am not familiar at all with that part of Virginia.

My grandfather Isaiah Smith had the following siblings:

John Smith who married Alease Hunter
Clarence who married unknown
Geneva who married a Bullock and moved to NYC
Lillie who married a Cottrell/Kittrell and moved to NYC
Frank who supposedly never married but had quite a few children. He was almost if not a 100 when he died. I've already met the lady that cared for him.

Henry Smith worked for the railroad and died between 1910-1920.

Ella Tinsley Smith died sometime in the 1960s.

Thanks.
