One of my wife's ancestors

To the forum

I was wondering if someone can help me solve this problem with one my wife ancestor. WILLIAM EDWARD FAUCETTE,( my wife great uncle ) was born in 1870 in Orange County NC. He married a IDA CORBETT in 1897 in Orange Co. In the 1900 census I found him with his wife and their
new daughter. In the 1910 census I found him and his wife Ida with their six children. In the 1930 census I found William E. Faucette with a new wife ISABELLA FAUCETTE and all of the children from his first wife Ida Faucette and one more child. After further research I found that Ida Faucette died in 1912 and is buried in Orange Co. Now here is the problem, in the 1930 census I found William E. Faucette in Orange Co. with three of his children but no wife was present but he was listed as married. Another think I found out it ask for the age he go married and he said 19, which means he got married in 1891.I cannot find out what happen to his first wife nor can I find out what happen to Isabella after 1920. None of my wife family knows nothing about Isabella nor that he might have been married 3 times. I have the death certificate of William Faucette who died in 1953. Where can I look for these answers. I would appreciated any help I can get.

James
