From what I have been able to determine,(if this is your Peter Brown) it appears that Peter's parents are Nero & Claricy Brown. In 1870 Nero and Clarissa are in Jefferson County, one page over from Peter and his wife Claricy. Nero on page 413 and Peter on page 415. In 1880 Peter is with his wife Claricy and children and also in the household is his widowed mom, Claricy. This is also Jefferson county You can check that out at www.familysearch.org Peter's age has changed throughout the census years. In 1870 he is 25 years old, born 1845. In 1880 he is 45 born 1835 and I do see him in 1900, 1910 and 1920.
