I am searching for my grandmother's mother's people who resided in Wilkes Co. GA. The furthest I've traced back is to Isham Sr.(a.k.a. Isom Sr.) Gartrell married to a Susan. (1870&1880 census) He was born around 1835. Isham and Susan had Isham (Isom) Jr born around 1868. Isham (Isom) Jr. married a Helly? and they had William, Hattie L, John and Henry. (1900 census) Hattie L Gartrell married a Willie (William) Broadnax. They had Bessie Lue (Louise) Broadnax (1930 census) who married a Jeremiah Aycox(Aycock)and they had my mom.
