I don't know anything about Charles H Allen. I know about him only because of my search for Isaac Allen in the 1880 Census. I have not been able to find a Charles H Allen in the draft registrations that was born in Virginia. Isaac left Va and married Harriet Sheppard in NC 1885. For all I know, Ella could have married again and changed Charles H surname to the name of her new husband. Thanks for your effort. It is appreciated.
