Alfred Brodie was my GGGG Grandfather b. 1830 to Violet Brodie (Slave) and Thomas Brodie, Slave Master's youngest brother. (John Wardlaw Brodie) (Aiken County, South Carolina)

I dont think our Alfred's are one in the same. I've recently corresponded through e-mail with a woman with my same exact name. Her name is Donna Brodie. She is from North Carolina. She didnt know much about her family history, but her Grandfather's name was Alfred Brodie. Donna has a website, I think it is donnabrodiekidd.com. She is a singer. She is a very warm person. Her brother Sydney could possibly be of some help.
