Good Morning

Brookings, SD is located in Brookings County, SD...it's about 400 miles from my hometown of Bismarck, ND. I do know that Bismarck had a sizable African American population in the late 1800's thru the early 1900's and a book was written about their history in ND. It seems I rememeber (I could be wrong) crossing a Daniel's family while scrolling thru the Bismarck census records; a possible connection?
