Re: OLEGEAN ROBISON or ROBERTSON

1. Yes, that is the number for the Death Cert. His name is spelled "Olegean" Robison. Mother's name was 'unknown' by the informant ('Margie' RobERTson of Mt. Pleasant). I believe that Peoples Funeral Home handled the burial.

2. Maggie's father was Preston EDWARD [could also be EDWARDS].
Interesting history on him.
In 1930, he and Maggie were living together in Titus county. He was 68 years old and a widow (couldn't find a DEFINITE death record).

In 1920, Mount Pleasant, Titus, there was an interesting family that didn't look at all like Preston's family. Even more confusing was the birthplace! Oklahoma? In the Census MARGIN was written "Negro Town - west of Jefferson Highway".
Edwards Peele 65 Married OK(3)
Jame A. Peele 50 M TN GA TN
They were living with their children: Minnie (32), Magie (30), Johnnie (27), Willie (23), and Sarah B. (21).

The VERY NEXT FAMILY was:
Robinson, Olan Hd and
---, Maggie wife, with
---, Clarence son

When I saw the family members in 1910 and 1900, I took a closer look at the 1920 census. [You might want to take a look. 'Edwards' could very easily be the SURNAME. What do you think?]

1910 Mount Pleasant, Titus, Texas
Head: Puston Edwards (worked on the railroad) married for 24 years
Wife: Jane Edwards 5 children, 5 living
Sarah Edwards (daughter, 14)
Bethel (?) Belle Niece
and one other 'Roomer'

1900 justice Precinct 4, Harrison County (pretty sure)
Preston Edward 38 M 14 years bp: TX parent's bp: AL
Jame Edward 33 bp:TX parent's bp: SC
Minnie Edward 13
Magie Edward 11
Johnnie Edward 9
Willie Ann Edward 8
Sarah Edward 5
These five (5) children match the 1920 family group - almost exactly, except for age discrepancies.
