Hello,

I found that my G grandfather Silas West b. abt. 1832 had a brother, name Benjamin West, b. abt 1840, NC. Benjamin married Jinnett (Jennie) UNK. They had several children. Ballard West b. 1880 was one of children. I found him in Nash County, NC as being married, 35, boarder and worked at Montgomery sawmill in the same county.

Apparently, it was a rather large sawmill because there were many boarders in the 1920 census in Nash County,NC. Does anyone know who Ballard West's wife was? Since he was a boarder, where was she and maybe children?

He listed my g grandfather, Silas West of Dunn, NC as his next of kin when he registered for the 1917-1918 draft. Note: Our address was Dunn, but we lived in Sampson County, Dunn was in Harnett County. Thanks.
