I recently went through the same task. My high school became an elementary school in the 70's. Guess who I contacted, menbers of each of the year of classes and rounded up all the yearbooks that the school had. I copied the book and put them on cd's. Also did a DVD for the school reuion. I have copies for our local library. See if someone would like you borrow theirs and promise to give it back when you're done. It works..
