Re: I am getting frustrated

I found a new, helpful source: local libraries. Most of the folks at the reference desks in these libraries are really interested to help and/or point me in another direction. Make sure you send about $2.00 to $5.00 dollars to cover their research costs, along with the SASE. Gotta do that. You get a better response even if it's "NO".
One of my brickwalls is finding out where my grandfather, George Walker, is buried. State of IL notified me today that there is NO DEATH CERTIFICATE FOUND for him even though he died of TB in 1933 in IL. One of the library researchers pointed me to Oak Forest Hospital in IL. Then, I remembered reading something about that hospital in our family reunion memoir booklet. I'm waiting for a reply and after nearly 10 years of looking, by jove, I think I've got it! His burial permit should have his mother's name on it.
Bottomline, keep looking at those old clues, pump older relatives and keep on trying! I know you will. God bless and good luck.
