Steven Jones, thank you for responding to this post from 2009. I presume that you don't have much experience looking over census records from your response. What you are looking at is a direct transcription from what the census taker wrote down. The error is with the census taker and not with the poster. Believe it or not during those days census takers didn't always get the correct name of individuals. Further, I don't think that any of us assisted in researching the Little family, though I have enjoyed reading quite a few books about your great granduncle.
