Re: Glapion in New Orleans
In Response To: Re: Glapion in New Orleans ()
I 'am one of the decendents of the funeral home family of Glapions. My fathers, father ran the place before his death at the hands of criminals. Myself nor my father wanted to stay in the family business. My grandfather on my mother side worked there for years but never onwed any parts of it. George G. Davis Jr. was also a Deacon and a Minister, after carring mail for the postal service for all those years. I'm still deeply saddened by the abuse and the audasity of the city government to make every effort to make it workable for the city to thrive again in the Nienth Ward. Not just the French Quarters. I still put alot off on Rey Nagin and all the people he was in bed with.
