I have a will of John McAllister recorded 19 July 1828. He lived in Greenwood Mills, Fredrick co, VA and Montgomery co TN. He list 62 slaves he is manumitting upon his death from his plantations in VA and TN. Many of these AA McAllisters migrated to Shawneetown, Gallatin co, IL. I have some census data on these McAllisters in southern IL only. The time period would be 1828 - 1860. I would like to share this information with an AA McAllister.
