I am searching for any information about Morris Slater known as "Railroad Bill" who lived in the late 1800s. Slater was known to have lived between Pensacola, FL and AL He may have also worked with a circus during his lifetime. He was an African American man who, out of desperation, became an outlaw and was known to the poor people of that time as a modern day Robin Hood. I am looking for information about Slater and would like to hear from any of his descentants.
