Re: Does Your Spouse Have The Right To Pry?

I'm with Ron on this Vicky,

The Government wants control and wants to control every aspect of people's lives, this is more of a dictatorship, big brother looking over little brother's shoulders.

I don't think anyone has a right to "spy" or look at anyone's personal information without permission, I don't care how close you are. You didn't come into this world as a group, you came individually, even conjoined twins don't have a right to each other's personal business. Even when one kid pees because the other kid has to, everyone still has a right to their own personal privacy.

The problem is honesty and what do you have to hide, if it's that secret. You should be upfront about things, but it's also about trust. Trust that there's nothing going on, trust that if there is they will be honest about it.

Parents should be different in that they are the authority figure, if something is going on in their house, they pay the bills, they should know, if they suspect something and they suspect their children is doing something wrong and they are concerned with their children, they should have a right to go check it out. But I agree Ron, it seems we are getting into that also, parents won't have a right over their own kids, but it's the Playing God thing the Government wants to do, they want to control THEIR citizens. How you raise your children, how you talk to your spouse, who you talk to your children, when you talk to your children, etc. It's getting crazy and it's gonna get crazy.
