I am looking at the military service record of Stephen Carraway in NC, on Ancestry. It says that he was born 1844 in Manor County NC. I have never heard of this county. Is this an error that was repeated page after page? His wife and son are in Lenoir County NC. Could I be reading it wrong? Any help will be appreciated.
