Later on today I will be giving a presentation on CCC camp newspapers for the Fox Valley Genealogical Society in Naperville, IL. I will be giving a version of this talk at the Black Summit next month which focuses on the AA experience & camp papers.
With the coming of the 1940 census, some of you may learn you have an ancestor who enrolled in the CCC. There is a good deal of information out there--one of them is the CCC Legacy website where you can see where some of the all black camps were located. It is organized by state and the -C and -VC indicate colored camps.
