My father's people (Walker's and Dobbinses) are from Mississippi. Haven't ventured there yet but have had great success by contacting both the public library and the Chancery Court in Attala County. To be truthful, I was not born in the south and have misgivings about travelling there alone. More power to YOU (LOL).
