Black History programs on PBS
Hi to all!
This month, PBS will be offering a myriad of programs covering the African-American experience in America.
On Tuesday, February 6, two programs will be offered.
The series, "Nova", will discuss the life of the trailblazing African-American scientist, DR. PERCY JULIAN on "Forgotten Genius". This program will air on PBS from 8-10 p.m. ET.
Following that program will be the series, "Independent Lens", which will highlight the life of renowned composer and musician, BILLY STRAYHORN. This program will air on PBS from 10-11:30 p.m. ET
On Tuesday, Feb. 20, the series "Independent Lens" will present the program "HIP HOP: BEYOND BEATS AND RHYMES." It will air from 10-11 p.m. ET
