Seabron Fye (Born 1825), and Gracie Fye, had several children, among them were Wallace(1846),Samuel(1850),Herbert(1852) Herbert was my grandfather.Robert(1853),Oscar(1861),Arthur(1864),Henrietta (1865),Jane(1869), and Thomas(1872) They lived in Jefferson County, GA. We believe that Cudjo Fye (1828), was Seabron's brother. Cudjo lead an insurrection in Jefferson County in 1870. He was jailed for his actions. Any more information on the Fye family will be greatly appreciated. The Fye family lived on a plantation owned by the Lowery or Lowry family. The plantation's name was Srpinghill Plantation.
