You had me rolling with your response. You are so right. I did try the wildcard and nothing. I wanted to tell ancestory to give me my money back on the birth records. They should have it set up like the census records where you can search each county in that state. I totally agree. I purchased a disc of Births and Marriages of the United States from 980-1880 and guess what? I found nothing. As if my ancestors were never borne.
