Re: Writing Oral History:My Experience
In Response To: Writing Oral History:My Experience ()
Hello, I am an International Baccalaureate student at John Adams High School. Thank you so much for the amazing recorded history you have shared through this interview with Mrs. Smith. It is incredible to read. Thank you for so generously sharing the information you have gathered. It is fascinating. I am currently working on two projects regarding this exact topic. For an English paper, I am studying pregnancy and childbirth within slavery. I am also taking a two year Visual Arts course, in which I am researching and developing ideas and artwork in a specific area. My area of research and study is pregnancy and childbirth among different cultures during different time periods, and how they influence the art. Your gatherings would be very useful and meaningful to me, and I was wondering if there was some way I might be able to obtain a copy of the interview in its entirety, whether it be a copied tape or a printed file. Your findings are so fascinating to me, and I hope that I can use this as a primary source by which I might conduct further research. Thank you ever so much,
