Predators In Our Midst

Ah, we are children of the Internet. Our reasons for being here are as varied as snowflakes. Some come to learn, some come to spread hate, and some come in innocent pursuits.

It is when the innocents are preyed upon that problems arise. The problems are exponentially increased when we, as wise users of the Internet, fail to acknowledge and stop predators in their path.

We are comfortable in the knowledge that we are all-wise and all-knowing and, thus, free from the clutches of a predator. We, in our infinite wisdom, fail to protect those who are less astute.

What are you, personally, doing when you find a predator in your midst? Ignoring them simply abets their personal agendas. We are all Internet users, and many of us are vulnerable [i.e., children, older adults, and other innocents].

That is what prompts me to post this message.
