Let’s break it down to the real.
Why do people want to steal
Your happiness and sense of contentment?
The Internet is a wonderful place, I know,
But perhaps it is a place where I should not go.
There are predators out there, predators everywhere.
Their disguise is often fatal to the hearts and minds of the unwise.
They take away your sense of well being,
And move on with no apologies, no remorse.
Perhaps because they feel neither;
Would that I didn’t, wouldn’t, shouldn’t either.
They leave you to ask yourself why,
When they happened to pass by
In your life, they chose to steal
Some of the most precious essence of you.
Once they have departed, they leave
You with a sense of wondering what and who
You are, and you can only hope and pray
That they are not laughing at you from afar.
What did I do to make this person think
That I am much less important than a kitchen sink?
What can I do to restore the sense of self
I possessed before they came along
And, being ever so strong,
Treated me as if I were not even important,
And even worse, not even worthy of consideration,
As they chose to pass on out of my life.
I hear evil, I see evil, but my choice in life
Has always been to speak no evil.
I must ask myself
What did I do to give the impression
That I am so into self-expression,
That I would come across as a
Person who is putting herself out there
For anyone, even if they don’t care,
To Bid ‘Em In!
Care is what we should always take
For our fellow human beings’ sake.
‘Tis not our right to manipulate and use,
And otherwise abuse,
A child of God.
