You know when I announced I was putting together a family reunion book for the 1st time, members who had something to hide thought I was going to write a "Mommy Dearest" book of sorts. That has been the farthest from my mind. I even invited anyone to please give me something to include. We all stumble around trying to figure out why certain things happened in today's generation not being able to find out until someone opens up to explain. I am only interested in 'information about the deceased family'. I want to know how did we get from point A-B. Not who slept with who. Everybody knows that anyway. Well an extended member of the family who I have never met or either don't remember them, wrote her autobiography and included true 1st names of family. Where my book was for family to enjoy and read, her's is out there to be purchased. I purchased the book and it did give me information that I was totally confused about in the past. Not anymore. It just goes to show in our search for answers there may be people in your extended family that will finally step up and say-'this is why it's this way'. I am so grateful she did. Now I can take another brick out of this wall. If no one tells you are points out information in her book, you wouldn't know all names are true. Now family is running around telling folks this cousin wrote some trash and lies about them and their parents. All it's going to do is help her sell that book.
